Start with a knit you know.
The most useful comparison is often a garment you already enjoy wearing. Lay it on a flat surface, smooth it gently without stretching, and measure it in the same way as the garment you are considering.
How to measure.
Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder beside the neckline to the hem.
Chest width: measure straight across the garment from one underarm to the other. This is a flat width, not a body measurement. Where a full garment circumference is provided, it is twice the flat chest width.
Shoulders: measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back. A dropped or shaped shoulder may need a style-specific measurement note.
Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Follow any different measuring method specified for the individual style.
Hem width: measure straight across the lower edge without pulling the knit.
Choose the silhouette you want.
Consider the way you plan to wear the knit: on its own, over a shirt or beneath a jacket. Compare the garment measurements with your reference piece and allow for the layering you prefer.
Our collection is being prepared around Standard and Relaxed silhouettes. The available options and exact measurements will be listed for each style when it launches. Use each style's measurements to compare it with a knit you already enjoy wearing.
